What We Did

The project encompasses the renovation of approximately 30,000 sf of existing warehouse space to act as a new, cutting edge research school for the University of Queensland Australia located on Ochsner’s North Campus. The first floor program includes classrooms, testing labs and a student activity center to promote the collaboration and sharing of ideas between students and staff. The use of color and way finding elements create well-ordered, but playful, spaces that complement the industrial past of the building. The second floor program includes administrative offices and a conference room, allowing staff areas to prepare lessons. The main lobby accesses a connector bridge across Jefferson Highway allowing students and staff easy walkability between North and South Campus.
