Josie Sexton, AIA, NCARB

Architect

Josie found her calling in elementary school. She still has some floor plans that she drew as a child growing up in Northern California. Josie later moved to New Orleans to attend the Tulane School of Architecture where she earned a Master of Architecture degree, which she puts to good use specializing in healthcare projects.

Josie is most excited by the human interaction of patients and staff through the healthcare buildings she designs. She believes she can never cover too many details when it comes to introducing high-level functionality in healthcare spaces.

Before coming to Rozas Ward, Josie helped two previous firms convert their work from 2D drafting to 3D modeling by setting up office templates, libraries and standards. She’s been using Revit since 2006.

At home, Josie spends most of her time with her two children. But when she can get some personal time, she enjoys photography — especially taking photos of her kids.
